God...I went out with my friends to San Diego today just to have some fun...and fuck me, it feels like it was two fucking days...or something. You get the idea.
Fucking dropped $130 on clothes...which is more than I've ever dropped on clothes at one time in my entire life. It's also the first time I've ever bought nice clothes...like Ralph Lauren and Banana fucking Republic. They're all fucking ripoffs.
Being in Korea for three weeks looking like a bum totally made me want to un-bum myself. I usually just wear jeans and a band shirt out...I have an often scruffy beard and usually wear a beanie out. So...I bought some clothes...with the help of my more fashionable girl friends. It took like fucking four or five hours and I was fucking exhausted.
Then we went to the San Diego Zoo. Did you know the San Diego Wild Animal Park is home to four out of thirteen Panda Bears in the United States, which is home to thirteen out of about thirty-eight Panda Bears not in China around the world? That park is fucking huge. I was exhausted and felt more like I'd just wandered Disneyland instead of a zoo. I saw cool shit, though. I love panda bears (no relation to Tasteless's constant pandabearguy stuff), Koala bears, polar bears and giant tortoises. That place fucking had them all.
After that it was time to go bar hopping. Unfortunately, that ended up being a humongous fail. We were fucking exhausted from the heat, relative humidity (from the OC which is always dry) and from walking around staring at clothes and animals all day. We ate some quick food at Denny's before heading to what is apparently called the Gaslamp district near downtown San Diego.
That place is more fucking crowded than Sunset Blvd in fucking Hollywood. Holy fucking shit, it took us an hour and a half to find a fucking parking space. It has less clubs and more lame bars than Sunset, but jesus...there were a grip of fucking cars and people. All fucking Metal Mulishia shirt wearing white dudes, black club rats, umm...Latino looking latinos? and preppy-ass looking Asians. Basically...everyone fit in perfectly to their stereotypes... -___-
So after an hour and a half and wandering from shady bar to less shady bar, we settled on a fucking TGIF to sit down and relax. Yes...of all places, a TGIF restaurant. I downed several beers there (they're cheaper than your average bar) and found myself pleasantly drunk. I was then talked into walking into a deathtrap club.
The friends I was with consisted of three cute Asian girls and a tall lanky white dude. While I had been enjoying my cheaper beers at the TGIF, the girls had gone to wander the street a bit more checking out the clubs. Apparently a bouncer tried to get them to come in, offering no door fee and all that shit, and so the girls later tried to convince a bum short Asian dude and a tall lanky white guy that they could get us in for free too.
Bull fucking shit. I don't care who the fuck you are...$20 for a random tiny ass fucking club in the middle of Gaslamp, San fucking Diego is a fucking rip off. Go fuck yourselves.
We ended up "clubbin' it" at an underground shady bar complete with vomit on the floor of the bathroom, a shitty fucking DJ, and $8 12oz BOTTLES of Newcastle. Naturally, I bought some anyway.
Being out on a dance floor is lame when you can't dance, all the chicks at the bar are fucking fat, ugly and cheap looking, you're too close to the girls you're with to do anything, and you're getting dicked by every pumped wannabe tough guy motherfucker in the bar.
To top it all off, one of my friends was drunk and wild and out...what do the kids call that now...crunk? God, I hate this whole subculture. Fucking deflecting all them wannabe tough guy motherfuckers from our drunk cute Asian girl and our cute little circle of friends for two hours wore me fucking thin. Especially when between me and the other dude, I was the only one with the balls and the alcohol in me to cockblock those pumped fuckers. I would have lost in a fight to any one of those fuckers too...what the FUCK was I thinking??

Oh right...I'm still fucking drunk. Why the fuck am I ranting? I'm writing this with a wry smile on my fucking face. It was a fun day hanging out with some of my best friends, and I even tried a Samuel Adams for the first time ever. I always thought it was just hyped shit, but their Summer Ale is actually pretty good. It's like...fruity in a non-gay and non-Belgian way. There are gay fruity beers and there are bomb Belgian fruity beers. It was neither.
However STILL...the three best beers in the world: Fat Tire, Guinness Draught, Newcastle, and $3 Schooners of Bud Light. Fuck you Blue Moon fuckers...that is some of the nastiest shit ever.
I now have a horrible headache and need to lie down before I pass out in front my computer.

I actually bought quite a bit...like five shirts in total. Just the price distribution was way off. Two Ralph Lauren shirts were like $80. The other three are from Banana Republic ($25) and Pac Sun ($25 for two).
