And just to bring it back up, He is doing because he can. Like many other things you do/try in your life. Just so you can say you did it, you accomplished a goal, you tried it, etc. It's a story you can tell someone, its something that people might give you respect for if its brought up. It's something to tell your grandkids (never to do?). And sleep deprivation is far far safer than the 100s of other things he could be trying out. Shit I;ve known tweakers who smoke all day for like a week straight, That is drugs and sleep deprivation and they are not dead. | ||

It may be healthier than doing drugs, but that doesn't make it a smart idea. There are many of us who can't have a good night's sleep even if we wanted it. There are many of us who'd probably kill to be able to get a full amount of sleep every night. It kinda irks you after a while, no? | ||
