I dont think all this will help in anyway to clean the gaming from the hackers | ||

In any sport cheating is an outrage, it is inexcusable, it undermines the sport, and it ridicules the community especially a community so heavily based on sportsmanship. apology was crap, and is worthless until he actually does something, and even then it is still worthless because it is a half ass attempt at acting like the victim of an assault by TL, it also suggests that it is not such a bad, or so uncommon occurrence to ask a friend to give you 1 win for a few points to get to the next rank. He did it so he could play the martyr, keep all of his fans, rally them behind him, and seeing as he is mentally inept he might have even thought that this would help TL like him. He insults TL's intelligence and mine by association with that ridiculous piece of shit he calls an apology. If he loves the game and supports the community, and isn't simply after some notion of E-fame, he will keep playing, without abusing, until enough time has passed that it is evident he has reformed his ways, and regrets his idiocy. unfortunately i don't see that happening, especially since he is unwilling to stream his games. | ||

If people realize he abuses to the level he says he is, then maybe they will realize his is not sound and will turn to better sources for information. | ||

I have no idea why you are so freaking mad at combat-ex. He is a bad player... SO FUCKING WHAT? I feel so stupid that I listened to him at the first place. NO! He's fucking awesome at what he is doing, I'm not only learning from his videos, but it's mostly entertaining. And isn't that what matters? Well, I'm not gonna work as a SC player when I get older, so why does it fucking matter if he might be teaching me wrong. I think it's you who are only jealous at his great work of posting VODs. And I don't get the videos less entertaining, if he has abused. You all seem to forget, that starcraft is used for entertainment. | ||

You are improving your own skills by playing. Your skills would improve even more by watching a competent player. Sure, someone might praise a tutor for raising a student's grade from failing to barely passing, but if there are better tutors out there who could raise the student's grade to above average, why would anyone use the first tutor? Because he has good advertisements? That's combatEx. His students may not be failing, but they are still getting shortchanged. And then they keep coming here and being all proud of how combatEx has helped them not fail. "Now I'm getting Ds instead of Fs and it's all because of combatEx! And now this bullshit is happening. WTF. I remember a couple of years ago I started playing starcraft, and I couldnt find anything that could help me alot *apart from pro-gamers, but no actual commentating*. Then I found this guy that posted his games on youtube. I watched them weekly, and understood some of the really basic fundamentals of starcraft. I look at them now, and sure, there are alot of holes in his vids, but they still help beginners imo. This is a community for learning on starcraft, not for bashing on people, at least not for 2 fkn years in a row, thats the time ive been here. | ||
