Oh hai, first time posting a blog. I recently created my account but I've been trolling here and there a lot.
Anyway, I need some suggestions. My friend got me an Xbox 360 for my birthday, Call of Duty 4, and a month of XBox live. I didn't really deserve any of it but he's being really nice. He's not filthy rich either. And he's not gay. At least I hope not.
I don't know what to get him in return. He doesn't exactly expect me to pay him back with something of equal price or anything (not that I can anyway) so I need some ideas.
Things to know about my friend:
1. He is hispanic
2. He likes Red Bull
Yeah I am already thinking of buying him a bunch of cans of Red Bull but I don't know what else might be worth giving him. What can a poor guy who wants to repay a friend in a nice way possibly get as a birthday present? His birthday is about a month away so I've got time.

Uh, if that's all you really know about him, a case or two of Red Bull isn't a bad idea, I guess. It doesn't really show much thought, but if he likes it that much, it couldn't hurt. Or wouldn't be a bad place to start.
I don't know though, I'm terrible with gifts, and it really isn't much to go on.

I am sure he's not under the impression that your loaded with cash. Unless your presents towards other friends are extravagant. It seems he values your friendship tremendous to give you an Xbox, game, online subscription and doesn't care about money when comparing it. The best thing you can do is spend more quality time and focus on building a deeper understanding rather on the basis of money.

Didn't his gift to you cost him a little more than a few hundred dollars though? Honestly this is a really good present it sounds like. Or if you can find a different mini fridge that isn't redbull shaped that is cheaper that will work too, but fill it with redbull. If you have to splurge or even borrow a bit of money I would do it personally.

yeah while some may be violent and hostile, this one i know seems to be the nicest guy i've ever met.
as for the gift.. i really want to get him the fridge but its effing $200+. Of course in response to what he's given me, it shouldn't be a big deal but I didn't even expect an XBox on my birthday tbh and honestly im not in the situation to be buying a $200 fridge for even myself. im going to have to find a way to get some quick cash or find a cheaper but still worthy present. those shoes mentioned above seem cool too.
Oh, a friend suggested that since this friend plays soccer, i should get him one of those Red Bull soccer jerseys. maybe i can get a few other friends to pitch in with me and buy him that

Damn I need some hispanic friends then, the value of the birthday gifts I've gotten in the past few years from my asian friends is probably like less than a dollar. I got a snake carved out of wood but kinda cracked in half and help together by tape, it was cute at least.
