In bringing out the colors more, learn how to adjust the levels and curves in photoshop, or whatever other program you use. Using the other ones, color balance, saturation and whatnot actually only layers a filter over the actual image. To really get in and give a more natural looking change to the image, it's best to work with the curves and levels.

Aside from that, you have a decent eye for composition. Just work on that as you take more photos, and try to learn how to use lighting advantageously in your photos. If you can master that last one, anything you take a shot of will look good.

I've been shooting "seriously" for around 3-4 years now, and I underestimated the importance of lighting for the first year or so, as I taught myself. I'm still trying to work out bad habits and whatnot when I shoot now. Developing an eye for composition is easy enough, and you end up becoming too conscious of that and ignore other aspects too much. ):
