oystein if you are using vista you have to run xfire as admin just like the icc launcher. Because a program which is not run as admin cannot influence a program that runs as admin.

MasterOfChaos while you're here, do you have a work-around for the DX10 problem? I.E. the screen is full of black tears and stuff everywhere if I open BW with a DX10 compatible graphics card (bug was confirmed by xfire).

Simply deactivate xfire. I think there is a blacklist feature for ingame notification to which you can add SC. No idea if that helps, as I don't use xfire.

If you deactivate it you can`t stream, and then there is no use for xfire at all for my part.

its not just DX10, I have this problem in XP I just deactivated starcraft in xfire but then you can't stream indeed. Its really random because I never had this problem and then suddenly after a Format this problem popped up really annoying never got rid of it.

So you're saying you can't have a DX10 compatible card with XP? =)

Maybe it's because of the drivers, you had older drivers before you formated (maybe non-DX10 ones? I've little to no idea on how drivers work) or something.

Nony - what are your PC specs like? Do you have dual core or something? I can't seem to broadcast without some pretty bad cpu lag that makes playing very difficult.
