I have never used Windows Vista before so the problems may be attributed to my inexperience, but I am fairly certain that I have no fucking idea what the hell I am doing. Link to computer I actually am starting to believe that it does NOT have a wireless card thingy in it although truthfully I have no clue. Please god (TL) help me figure this shit out, I have been dicking around with this for about 6 hours and feel like commiting suicide.  | ||

Typically a wireless adapter will have an antenna on it, so you need to check your tower and the box for anything that has one. If you're absolutely certain that there is no wireless adapter, just call up Acer tech. support and they'll probably send you one for free. Also, make sure your router has wireless capabilities (will also have 1-3 antennas on it). | ||

A USB adapter doesn't require you to open up your computer (which may void your warranty if you care about that) because it just plugs into an available port. A PCI-E card you have to snap into the actual motherboard. I've used both and they both performed about the same quality for me. However, everything I hear says that PCI-E is the way to go so that's what I got for the computer I have now. | ||
