i've honestly never have had a problem doing a group project with any of my classmates in science classes, but i have friends in business courses that complain about this type of situation all the time.

Everyone has to carry their dumb group members through HS, deal with it.

anyways my advice may not work out so well for you as I would just say fuck it, bite the bullet and take the hit in grade and make your group members eat their procrastination by not helping them and taking care of your own stuff first (studying for your tests and whatnot). But, again I have no idea what your situation is in your school (my HS was laughable and I was straight A when I could be bothered to give a crap about my class, so I could afford dropping a class in the first place). Then again, I'm quite a cynical person that would rather keep things fair than pick up some other's damn slack. Pessimistic outlook: at least you learned you can't trust others sorry

I remember back in highschool we had good group that made the project 50% or so complete on a day or two without even wasting too much time... but it lead all of us to think that rest would also be as easy -> nothing gets done -> the same morning we had to introduce it we all went and googled our asses off, gathered all important looking things related to subject and I rearranged it in MSWord to look more like selfproduced text. After that it was sent to next guy to add some pictures to make it less plain looking and so on. In the end we managed to get around 80+ out of 100 (not sure what scoring system was used back then, think about previous numbers as percents) due our last few members who presented most of the work amazingly well despite the fact that they had barely seen the final version... ah the good times.

One person ditched the presentation the 7 of us had to present, and we got completely owned. It completely showed through that we did not prepare at all. Since we did peer grading, I completely nuked the CEO and some other guy. 27/40 ftw.
