I've done this a couple times some years ago when my parents had to go out of town, but I wasn't quite old enough to drive myself anywhere. I actually became a decent cook for myself from that.

In childhood / college days of course when I'm home and my parents went somewhere for a trip I have but....in my adult life...never. Unless sleeping for 20 hours then eating from the minibar for a few hours after being awake 48 hours straight counts.

seriously? you've never screwed up your sleep schedule to the point where 12 hours of sleep was what your body wanted? (obviously i'm assuming you mean a certain age minimum since as a baby there's no doubt you slept longer than this)

There was one year in undergrad I would go several days without seeing someone. But that's undergrad, right? These are the years you don't go to sleep for a few days just to see what it's like.

I haven't since then, though.

I once went 3 days without seeing anyone. The streak broke when i saw the pizza guy but if that doesnt count it was like 4.5 days. If its of any interest, i had no internet or tv and only video game i had was resident evil: survivor and a black and white tv.

i have already gone 2+ days ( maybe almost 4 days ) without seing an human.

Basicly it was:
- Parents -> holidays
- bro -> Lost somewhere doing ice climbing or stupid shit like that.
- friends -> holidays
- me -> lazy/bw mood -> staying at home playing bw / browsing net / watching movies / reading books whereas i told to my parents " IAM GONNA STUDY HARD DADY I SWEAR ! "
Fridge full, beers and White Porto ready so no need to buy anything.
Gets boring after two days though but that's quite a funny experience ( lol comp addiction ).
After 3.5 (? ) days i finally went out to buy stuff / hairdresser.
That was scary... i mean there were people in the street... o,o

Back when I was of high school age, this occurred like... All the time? 24 hours isn't a very long time, hahaha. I can specifically remember several times of not seeing another human for a week or more.

Back in like 2001-2003 I moved to Rocklin (a suburb of Sacramento somewhat) and Its lame and boring and often times I wouldn't do anything but watch tv and computer all day for weeks. I would see my dad every day though.

There have been at least a few times where I haven't seen a single person for a few days though. Chatted online and talked on the phone though.

I'm completely broke, I live by myself (with three roommates, but they go home on weekends), no job, and I have class two days a week. Well...I do see them outside my window or if I'm like running errands or something...

But I've gone days where I've stayed in reading and shit and it became dark before I knew it...lol.
