He's also lovely in person and is very kind to his fans. Gaming wise - I love the fact that you never know WTF he's going to do next. It makes for interesting viewing because he polarises the community between those who love him and those who loathe him - I like gamers who can provoke such strong reactions. | ||

I personally wouldn't recommend taking the Nikon route because I've found even my D40X using the Sigma EX 70-200mm lens (about $1600 worth of kit in total.) doesn't cope well with the low-lighting conditions of OGN/MBC let alone anything interior such as gigs. (It actually copes quite well with exterior concerts though.) If you did decide to go with Nikon then check out the Nikonians forum - it's got loads of reviews and advice from experienced users. I think Canon is the way to go if you want less noise and better handling in those kinds of situations. You might have to save up a couple of hundred more for a package with body/kit lens and then consider investing in a more substantial lens in the future - but that depends upon how seriously you're interesting in taking your photographic work. I'd also recommend checking out Amazon's used section because they have a lot of good savings on the lower end DSLR cameras in their refurbished sections. I've also heard recently people are turning to Korean site likes Gmarket (which has an english version.) because of the good exchange rate and wide availability of DSLRs/Lens/accessories here in Korea. My best advice is research online - decide exactly what you want out of your camera and then focus upon models that emphasis 'low lighting' 'noise compensation' 'image stabilisation' etc. Oh and if you do choose the 'point and shoot' route - don't, whatever you do go with Samsung models. The wait time on my digicam from them is frighteningly big and the photos are bollocks. | ||
