..but you dont get whats going on
I know. But I'm convinced none of you actually tried hard enough! Think of it as a visual puzzle. The pieces are all given to you through symbols and objective information.
I'll give an example: the creature that is described in the second and third image. It has nuclear power. And look at its brain, does it not strike you as oddly similar to something?
Granted that this comic takes a lot of outside knowledge. I just wanted to make something thats not one-dimensional and instantly 'gotten'.

Everything is grotesque, and I don't get what your satirizing, but the quality is nice :D

+ Show Spoiler [image hunt] +http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Basil%27s_Cathedral
hmm... my mind goes to a few different directions but I'm afraid of making a fool of myself, so I'll just wait for others to get it first and then say "I KNEW IT!!" :p

+ Show Spoiler [my guess] +Well, that picture has thrown me off a bit so I'll post up my original guess. Actually it's more interpretation of a couple of the pictures.
Pic #5: Oil in the middle-east/Iraq?
Pic #6: The beast is the USA right? The head is the president, since 1461 days comes to roughly 4 years. I like the artwork for the shed heads; sort of like that mountain with the faces of past presidents on it, or a row of busts.
Pic #7/#8: The USA as the flying beast maintaining a "watchful eye" and some middle-eastern country supplying it with "propellant" (oil).
I dunno. I'm having trouble with some of the pics, and pulling it all together into one concept.

go ahead! actually this entire comic is supposed to thrive off of different interpretations
its like maurizio cattelan said “Whatever comes after you’ve done your work, it doesn’t belong to you. You can’t control it. The work has to fight for itself and define itself.”

It seems like we get zoomed in pictures of Geronimo's face, which turns out to be full of little beasties. Mundo means world in spanish, so geronimundo is like geronimo's world
weird but cool

+ Show Spoiler [fonger] +fonger you are correct on all your guesses! bravo you dont have to try pulling it together in one concept these pieces are supposed to appear individually like once every week in a magazine or something so there's the reappearing 'characters' instead of an actual storyline if you look at the first 4 you should be able to find a resemblance to something that happened a few months ago

+ Show Spoiler +geronimo spent his life fighting nations

Wow great drawings, very cool indeed. xcept the sparkle effect is owning me. I dunno what typeface you used but its hard to read =]
Also, do you watch bleach?
|
I got most of the pictures correct but i thought that + Show Spoiler +the buildings that represented the Middle East were the buildings of the Kremlin, so i thoguht it was about the cold war X(
I quite like the art style. Very unsettling, which works with the story you're trying to tell

mel_ee as I said in the op, these will be printed on near A3 size so the text will be much better there and no I dont watch bleach, why?

Funny how people still relate it to Starcraft.

fantastic use of positive and negative spaces. Salute!

just pure black/white is definitely sick style. No gray.

Difficult, but certainly not boring ^^ Nice work.
Edit: A jellyfish? Strong self-defence, and a big head ("brain"). A nuclear jellyfish?! THE PLOT THICKENS.
