even if it is overused. i believe the origins of the word baller are from basketball. Ballers were pro basketball players. Since then the word evolved to mean a person having success doing what they enjoy while also profiting heavily from it. For instance Flash is a baller because he's doing what he loves while profiting heavily from it. That's at least how i understood the word. but since then even i've started saying it for all sorts of shit. baller is just a good fking word. jobber is another good word, pretty much the opposite of baller is a jobber. | ||
