indie games , very very good Young programmers and designers allow you to download their freewares, i recommend SuperCosplayWar Ultra very good fighting game , but it also got games from many styles from simulators RTS, passin thourgh rpg, shooter, and, many other styles | ||

-Doom/Doom II ; if you have the .wad files, you can look up a free utility called "doomsday" that can let you run the games in XP with much improved graphics -Warcraft II bnet edition -Diablo/Diablo II -Freespace II; best space sim ever made; pretty sure it's freeware now, and you can look up something called the "freespace 2 open source project", which lets you run the game on modern machines with much improved graphics and effects -Unreal Tournament (1999) game of the year edition ; IMO still the best FPS game ever made, and it'll probably run on anything at this point -Quake 3: Arena; also, look out for "Quake Live", a free e-sports oriented re-release of Q3A that you can play on your internet browser, coming in 2009. | ||
