I'm applying for Government Scholar's Program (GSP) and there are 3 questions that my teacher is recommending us to answer. The questions are actually longer but I'm just summing them up. I'm only gonna bring two up because of one of them I can't answer.

1. Who would you want to take to on a road trip and why?
2. Submit page 268 of your auto biography. (I'm guessing this is towards the end of your life?

I know this is about my own thoughts but what are some good ideas to start with? Btw, I've been seeing the second question pop up for alot of college applications.

Another short answer (250 words max) is something unique I do as a hobby and it has to be really special to me. I was going to put down starcraft but I'm not sure if that's unique because they would probably see it just as some game.

Make it up 100% if it sounds good at meets the requirements and you can write it passionately. Most of these types of questions are total BS and should be treated as such. I'd give specific advice but I haven't had to answer these before so I don't exactly know what they are looking for.

For your first question, you should take your younger self on a road trip and then teach yourself all the wisdom you have managed to gather throughout your life. Trippy~

take obi wan, he'll jedi mind trick you guys out of any problems that might arise.

this is a scholars program, they must expect an autobiography well over 268 pages, probably more in the 2000 page range. I would probably explain in detail the ride home the from the hospital after you were born.

for #2 make it just references and endnotes, just for the hell of it.

or, you can pretend you live 9999999 years and be like "Chapter 2"

uhh, for number 1, I'd take my friends/significant other on a roadtrip if the gas prices go down..

For #2 I suggest you just start writing your autobiography. When you get to page 269, just submit the page that comes right before it. Genius! It's like it wrote itself.

But seirously though, I'm sure the question is just something where they want to see what you see yourself doing in the future. You should go watch a few episodes of How I Met Your Mother to get your creative juices flowing :D

I like micronesia's take on this though. If you really need to start, just make stuff up. Always worked wonders forme.
