So I'm in this academic club at my school, called quick recall. Basically, its where they ask you a bunch of school subject related questions (also some stuf about sports but thats rare, and other random stuff) and one of the questions was, "what is the shell of a turtle called?" and the answer was carapace and so now I'm never going to forget what its called. I wish other things were related to sc so I can remember. Also there were questions and the answers were some map names such as ride of valkeryie.

lol, I did QR for years and years. RoV is a Wagner opera, iirc.

haha i love how sc made me good at multitasking. think of different agles of problems and how to get stress under control.

SC gives you a bunch of skills that are sometimes useful, and sometimes really random. Most people who don't play can't figure out how i can type "random" keys really really fast ><;;

What's funny is that if you continue to do QR/Quiz Bowl in college, teams generally have to submit question packets in order to play in tournaments. So it wouldn't be impossible for someone to actually cite Starcraft in a toss-up as one of those obscure clues they give for an answer before they get around to the obvious facts that people are more likely to know. I remember a bonus about aeons in FFX once...awkward.
