So put the one you didn't lose in another contact lense container (if you have one, you get a free case everytime you buy more solution) and put in a new set of contact lenses. In the future when one rips/you lost it then replace it with the already used one from before that you put in the 2nd case. My eyes have the same prescription as well so this works very well but even if you don't when you need a new lense you have a 50/50 chance of the one you lost being the spare one you have. I always wear my lenses in the shower but I just try to avoid the shower spraying near my eyes. | ||

That is true, but they also tell you to take your contacts out because shower water is not superclean (well more or less so depending on where you live), and if some shower water gets in your eye, it can get into that layer of tears between your contact and your eye and start growing stuff (because that liquid doesn't actually recycle very quickly). The lysozyme in your tears should keep you safe, but doctors just like to make sure. | ||
