i'm bringing up my old PC desktop from my old house. i'm going to game on that and use the mac for all other purposes. mac's are excellent except when it comes to games. this is common knowledge, though, and if you didnt know consider this fair warning! also - a dual boot could work but i'm just going end up with my old pc anyway so ! | ||

I've never owned a mac, but I've spoken to mac users who do lots of cg etc and they claim macs crash just as much. (although i will not take back my claim that os x is significantly more stable than windows - i cant imagine who you are talking to and what kind of hammer they must be hitting their macs with to make it a close comparison) | ||
