(they both have their uses)
I'm sure this is true for
some reason... but honestly I have yet to say something like "damn I wish I had a mac right now"
that doesn't really mean much of anything
I often hear 'DAMN I ONLY HAVE MAC' and I never hear 'DAMN I ONLY HAVE PC' and I do think that says something.
just because the mac may or may not be of use to you specifically says next to nothing about its uses overall. also, you are probably not aware of many/most of the things macs do well!
Can you name something macs do that I need?
how would i know what you need? like i said, macs are good for some, not so much for others
And I was just talking about my own experience... and I think that's sufficient to draw some preliminary conclusions.
do you work/create any multimedia? macs have some great tools for that on the software and hardware end.
What do macs do better with multimedia?
also, it's awful nice to not crash on a regular basis/ever, nomsain?
Actually no I don't. I've never owned a mac, but I've spoken to mac users who do lots of cg etc and they claim macs crash just as much. Maybe it is better now than it was a few years ago.
if you just game - which is what it sounds like - of course, macs are not for you.
i'm not trying to sell you a mac here, i don't know why this thread has turned into this :D
It turned into it because you weren't happy with my claim that macs aren't good for me.
