It's the only way to prevent super gosus from getting raped trying to get games when they are 17-1... that is, unless they start people who were B/A last season at C or something like that... | ||

The first reason is that it requires a reset. This could be fixed easily by replacing the reset with a daily point decay which is proportional to the points the player has. The second reason is that you move really slowly to your real rank. This can be fixed by seperating estimated play level from the rank. There are some good papers about how MS achieved that for xbox-live. The greatest advantage of the ICCup system is, that everybody can understand it. A second, imo dubious advantage is that it encourages massgaming. | ||

For 75% of the season it hardly affects anything. It's a more competitive aspect to a competitive ladder, so everyone can play anyone. It'd be awesome to be able to play A players all day. | ||
