In my previous blog entry i told you guys that i searched a noob clan to improve my pathetic level and someone told me to join no.9) on East.
I spend few days with my ger friend on their channel then we joined the clan because they were C-/D+/D level and some were really nice.
But after few weeks thanks to Bwchart we discovered that your dear leader no.9)night.mare was a multicommand hacker. He denied it and after reflexion ( and after being banned of some games because he gave no.9) a bad reputation ) i left no.9) like many other cool guys. Moreover my Ger friend crashed his hardrive and cant play for 3 weeks so no more 2v2 for me.
So i came back on Europe, but i still dont find cool guys of my level to play ( all my friends on Europe are way better or way worse ) so i started to play 3v3 Hunter and Ums again ...
So this night after some retarded Phantom games on East i remembered of the clan (OD) ( mostly because i had an epic flame war about bugs rights with Fragkrag(OD) ^^ ) and i went to their channel, i asked if the clan is gm, the level of the members, i told them my story with no.9) and i asked to obs a game ( i was quite tired and i wanted to see what is the level of the average clan (OD) member ).
Now the drama begins.
They started an obs game on python ( i was on adv because min hacker detection is so usefull when you play phantom on East ) and i saw "yare(OD) has left the game" and same for the two other guys. So i left quickly like when people drop when they havent chaos laucher.
I thought it was a drop. I didnt know if it was me or them.
Then i'm back on the channel but yare and the others guys werent here. So i /w him i ask him if he dropped. And he answers me something like:
" go back to your noob hacker clan this is an anti oblivion map so if you dropped it is because you uses oblivion".
I was ...... Wtf ?
I asked him to remake the same map to see if i would drop again but he banned me two times.
So i ask you guys is it possible to drop on this kind of map when you are on adv ?

They left at the same time. And when i whispered yare he was still in game, so i guess i was the only guy who dropped.

I watched the rep, it didn't show anything at all, although I highly doubt there's an "anti-oblivion" map that people would play on. There's no way to detect oblivion if you don't actually use it. The only ways I know of to "detect" oblivion was if they randomly move the screen to someplace you wouldn't be able to see normally or a trigger that alerts people if you gain 500 mins at once.

Come on, if you drop, you're obviously a hacker. I mean... that's like the only way you can possibly drop, right? There's plenty of other good clans out there. And even if you can't find one, there's no reason you can't have fun with SC without one. I love Phantom games on USeast ^^

Yea he hacks and he bragged about how his skills and how he " pwn" onfire clan members.
I dont think he uses maphack because i beat him easily with a reaver drop bo but he uses at least multi command and auto-split.
I will update some replays of him.

night.mare doesn't hack, his razer tarantula allows him to select all his units at once without hotkeying them. duh

2- i dont even care of having a clan tag. I just want to find people gm with D <---> C- level ( and no i dont want to mass play on Iccup ). My friends on Europe are D- or Fra B level and there are no good channel with gm people around my skill level.
3- nobody know me on East but still i dont want people in (OD) to remember of me as "boblion the noob from no.9) who used oblivion " ....

I have no problem to mass play in 2v2 though (i had 100+ games last season ) but my ally crashed his hardrive and he will be back only in few days/weeks.
So can someone tell me if this kind of map can drop players who use adv ?

I honestly don't believe there's a map with a trigger to drop adv loader. Also, why would you use ADV when you can use chaos with the adv plugin

I've only been proxied maybe five times in the past 2 seasons
yeah you have to deal with dt rushes and 2 gate zealot, but as long as you don't play reckless and scout, arent impossibly hard to stop

I was very civil. Bablion msg me and asks if everyone dropped I told him no that the map was anti hack map and he was the only person who left. He then continued to msg me, so I said perhaps he should go back to his old clan.
he then tried to follow me into several games, and i didn't think he'd add anything to my game as an obs (clan od has a bunch of crappy obs).
I guess he likes to make situations out of nothing.

Hey i knew that this kind of map existed. I wanted to know if it was some random bug or related to adv, so i asked you to let me obs another game but you told me that i hack and you banned me than /squelch me

actually you only use "an" before a vowel sound. eg. an hour because the h is silent.

The obs map used might have been one of the bugged ICCUP obs maps, which give the players errors upon the starting the game, and would have nothing to do with adv loader. Never heard of or experienced any kind of insta drops/errors whenever I have used adv (baring the occasional error/drop from certain iccup obs maps, but you are dropped regardless if you are using ICCUP launcher, chaos, or adv.)

Afaik the anti maphack maps are usally fixed within a few days. There are some which use a bug in EUD Triggers to read arbitary memory and detect modifications to SC code. But these are fixed. The other commonly used method are invalid sprites in the FoW. If you view an invalid sprite your SC crashes. Some of these are fixed, others are not.
