I see how f(2) changed to a 1, but I can't finish the problem to get the final answer. Can someone finish it?

You plug f(x) as what f(x) is defined as, then you - f(2) Which is one. So now you have f(x)-1/(x-2) Hope that makes sense.

You gotta do the conjugate when you get: (1 - sqrt. (x - 1)) / (x-2) sqrt. (x-1) * (1 + sqrt. (x - 1)) / (1 + sqrt. (x - 1)), you can solve from there, it's easy from that. It's messy though. I have a hard time visualizing it, I just write the numbers out on paper.
