Installing programs onto your TI84

I've searched it through and cannot find it, one method was to drag the file(s) into TI DeviceExplorer, please tell me this isn't the only method because it does not work usually. I have a TI-84 Plus Silver, someone teach me? -_-;

For the ti-83 there was a program called TiConnect. I believe it was relatively easy to use.
Maybe it's the same for ti-84?

Yea, TI-Connect should work. Just drag your file into the actual icon. It should be easy to download (or use the CD that came with your calc).

I have the TI-Connect, that's where the TI Device Explorer comes from, only method is dragging?

if i remember correctly, you have to set your calc to the receiving option though

let's see... on my ti-89 titanium all i have to do is open up ti connect and drag the file onto the main interface of the program, wait a few seconds and it starts transferring.

Okay, so, I'm trying to download this: http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/386/38682.html

I unzipped it, have the TI Connect up and running, I can't drag folders into it, only files, does it drag into application?

when you open ti connect, go to ti device explorer, and select the calculator you have plugged into your computer. it takes a few seconds then a window pops up and says it's transferring, and closes a few seconds later.

and i don't think you can drag folders, only files anyways.

I just drag the zip file into the desktop icon, and it works. Make sure your calculator is on obviously.
