Alright ive working at this Golf course, called Shawnekii Golf Club for about 3 years now. First day back of the new season after winter, when i first walk into the pro shop, the starter says to me "hello, welcome to Shawnekii, do you work here?" I reply with "yes" he then says "o well welcome to your new job" then i say "Well actualy its my 3rd year working here." was so fucking akward after that.
Also, a major problem im having is with some of the older people that work there, their complete fucking dicks to me, and i cant say shit back cause there my fucking bosses. Most the time i cant tell if there fucking joking or not. One time last season, one of them is name is Erik, asked me to walk up to a guy who had a beer and ask if the beer was bought here or not. I thought it was a fucking joke, so i stood there for a few seconds, and then he said "wtf are u still doing here" and i said "are u serious?" and then he looked at me with the most stern face and said "Does it look like im fucking serious?" as i start walking out the door he fucking says nono im JK dumbfuck.
And also today the 1st day of the new season, one of my other bosses Steve finds me sitting in the pro shop chair (i work back shop (i park the carts)) and he freaks out at me, i rly dont see wat the big fucking deal is for sitting in a chair. He says that if a customer were to walk in that he might actualy ask me a question, and i might not kno the answer. Im not fucking retarted, but he is because he left a few mins later and told me to handle the phones for a bit. So now i can handle customers on the phone but not in real life?? wat a dumb fuck.
I get in trouble for shit that other ppl get away with, its fucking ridiculas. What should i do? Should i continue taking it in the ass from my bosses, or should i stand up to them and risk getting fired??

I have worked at various golf courses off and on over the past six years, and I can say that unfortunately golf courses tend to have more than their fair share of assholes. The one I work at currently seems to be the exception to the rule, luckily.

When I read entries like these, I always wonder: aren't you embarassed that your grammar skills are inferior to someone (like me) who is not a native speaker?
I mean, I would sure as hell be embarassed if I couldn't type coherent sentences without typos.

Im not at school, im on the internet.
and btw the reason why i havent quit yet is because its one of the best jobs i think is available.
My job consists of filling up gas and parking golf carts, if i work an 8 hour shift im usualy sitting down and watching T.V for about 2-3 hours.
I get....
- $8.50 an hour
- Free golf anytime i want for me and a friend, free golf cart inluded
- Free food
- Free drinks
I think the free golf is better then the money actualy.
