In contrast, my friend got off to a rough start bowling something like 150, 160, 180s, 200s, 210s. I was pretty happy with the lanes' conditions, so I don't think they were giving him that much trouble. Honestly I don't know why he was scattering his ball so much, but at least he picked it up to his usual level by the end.
It's only a couple more months before I start deciding on a new bowling ball to replace my strike ball (the missile). If I bowl comparably tomorrow at the league (if I even manage to make it there considering how much crap I need to get done this weekend) I can only pray I'll put up another 663. This broke my previous high series record by approximately 20 or 30 pins.
