I am for sure, I think those of you all in college already had it or are having it now?
But anyway, I'm going to Destin, Florida this weekend with a bunch of friends; and my friend's mom and boyfriend (the guy that invited me to go). So they all drink alot, and I've never drank before and I don't plan to (but I probably can't do that) Whats the experience like when you first drank? And if you've been to Destin, please say some stuff to do over there, tanks

you're in college and you've never drank?? not even casually?
it's not really a big deal, just don't drink too much. it feels like you can drink a lot, but if you drink too fast you won't feel it until later, so don't like gulp down a lot of drinks and let it all hit you at once.
it is embarrassing to puke, trust me.
edit: oh your birthday says you are 16?

yo dude ur kind of late, my spring break already passed.

I'm not a drinking expert or anything, but like HotBid said, it's not a big deal. If you start feeling sick, stop. Know your limits and you'll be fine. If you happen to throw up, it's not a big deal either. It happens to everyone at some point or another.
Also, if you didn't already know, Asians tend to turn red when they drink... It's not true for all I don't think, but don't get freaked out by it or anything, it's normal. My girlfriend (who's Chinese) very rarely drinks and she'll get red even after like two really weak drinks, so I'd expect you to experience some of that too since you've never drank before.

From Wikipedia: Nearest the city's center is Big Kahuna's water park, a popular water and adventure park. Destin Commons is an open-air shopping mall located to the east of the city, with a 14-screen Rave Motion Pictures cinema, a Hard Rock Cafe, and numerous tenants such as Bass Pro Shops, Belk, Books-A-Million, Banana Republic, The Eye Gallery and Abercrombie & Fitch.[17] Further east is the Silver Sands Outlet Mall, which claims to be "the nation's largest designer outlet center."[18]
Pretty much like any coastal Florida town, it's filled with tourist traps and rednecks. Enjoying the ocean/girls is probably your best option.

I had a short spring break a few weeks ago, but I have the real one on April 19-27. I'm looking forward to staying home, catching up on work/sleep/gaming etc.

i just had mine, went to encinitas, which is kind of like in San Diego. First time to the ocean and had a great time, surfed and shit :D! And the first time I drank I got drunk, was one of the best times I was drunk.. Just drink till you feel great and then quit xD

Then again i enjoy eating out pretty much anywhere since i dont do it much definitely go to ponamo joes or however its spelled if you like seafood though.
oh yea, SONIC (we dont have that in michigan either wtf )

We definitely have Papa Johns in Michigan and if you eat that Chick Fil A and get completely plastered, your liver is going to explode.
|
I got back last week from mine :D
Since its your first time and you probably will hate beer like most first timers, make weak mixed drinks like margaritas or rum and cokes
|
Yeah I go back to class today... man I wish I had spring break again!
