You've got major banks collapsing, fed cutting rates on sunday night (then again on tuesday), not to mention they are putting in 300 billion just to keep the banks afloat (last week's news). But perhaps, it is (s)he who needs to get an education, preferably in economics, so they can understand why I am not just spending it on the most 'convenient' thing.
