I think if you run on a treadmill, your cardiovascular endurance will definitely improve, but as for supporting structures in your legs, ankles, and feet I feel the real deal is much better. You actually walk on the ground, so it's a more natural feel and movement than a treadmill. | ||

I used to run a lot outside, but I recently started running on treadmills, and it is a lot easier, for the following reasons: a) No wind resistance b) Perfectly flat surface c) Indoor climate (it's a gym, so the temperature is adjusted for exercising) If you put it on 1.0 incline, it's supposed to be closer to what you would get from running outdoors, or so I was told. | ||
