Well, I just mean that at some schools, the students are really there to learn. At other schools, the students are mostly there to drink. Assuming you care more about #1, then avoid #2 and vice versa. :xAside from your first paragraph, I agree with you Jibba. Fit is key.
I wish I had cared more about fit when I chose my first school. Purdue has excellent academics, but being 1 of 45,000 undergrads and being in 400 student chemistry lectures didn't work well for me. It certainly works for some people though.
