I mainly solo, amongst friends most of the time when I have free time to my own. Then a friend of mine wanted to 1;1 me and I did, and out of nowhere, he had a shitload of mutalisks at my doorstep when I didn't even have 50 food yet. I guess it's one of those days, times, where hacks grow more atrocious and evil and spread fast, if not, faster than the plague during the olden days.
He was using oblivion, and soon, we both were using it in 2 versus 2's and more and more, I've noticed I liked it. It was so easy. The selection hacks, and you can practically go afk as long as you have food, and it'll keep producing units for you.
Hell, I have used it for almost a month and it's been a huge burden, I want to stop using it but I love using it against people in fastest, hunters, BGH and such. And then, I started using it in 1;1 just because people used it on me. Kind of like getting back at the world or some sorts. Then, my mistake, using it on my friends. This is unbelievable of me. I am such a dick, I now deleted oblivion and all of it's plague and restarting fresh. I lost a good friend of mine because I'm stupid enough to use the hack.
I'm sorry.

Although I do agree that this is morally incorrect, losing a "good friend" over using a hack is ridiculous. Maybe not such a "good friend" in the end, huh?

well your fault in the end. tbh you should be banned too.

Well, it's my fault. I kept using it like a handicap and that's wrong. If my friend did that to me, I would end our friendship too so I don't see this as any different.

Of course it is, I'm redeeming myself.

People have different sets of minds and what they deem is suitable or not. He already deleted me off MSN. :[

Amen.
Listen to some of those people in the hackers thread, you'd think they'd kill you if they knew you in real life just from HEARING you hack online

Ive played many games with raith on hamachi.. Even tho id strategize and micro far better i would lose in the end, as he had macroed up 5-6 bases late, really frustrating to play against.. so I checked his reps and I find hes using oblivion; split, auto mine, map hack etc.. I ask if he hacks, knowing he does and he keeps saying nono.. And then now he admits it, 1 day later.. Only reason I knew him was bw, so i dont see any reason to play/talk to him anymore.

Raithed did you see Testie's "Hack Apology" thread that was closed not too long ago? Read it.
There is absolutely NO excuse for hacking. My friend hacked in War3 vs me because he thought Spirit Walkers were supposed to be invisible (retard assumption on his part) and then he got maphack. He got banned. I don't play War3 with him anymore.
[On a somewhat unrelated note, I Cycloned his Ethereal Spirit Walkers and he called me a hacker and left.]
If you lose against a hacker why would you feel the need to hack yourself? They have a ridiculous advantage over you and whenever I lose to Oblivion hackers I just end up laughing because I see their stats on BWChart and they're pro+ caliber.

Words don't mean very much, but actions do - play legit from now on and continue that as long as you play.
