I like reading tl.net but it's blocked at work. One option is to simply not read tl.net at work. If necessary I will just go with that, but I'm trying to find ways around that for lunchtime etc. Workfriendly is blocked with the category 'proxy avoidance' lol. Are there alternate ways I'm not aware of?

Separately, I was wondering if I could host my own web page that has a frame that takes up pretty much the whole browser that displays another website? I'd think that would work so long as my page doesn't get blocked (which I doubt it would since I'd keep it private) but I wouldn't know how to set it up (probably wouldn't be too hard?).

First try if you can use proxies... www.proxytastic.com ... www.proxy.org

The only problem is that if the free proxy sites are blocked - also proxy sites lag and tend to have many ads. (Uh I dunno if I should be posting this, I think it's legal...?) [all it does is disguise your IP]

I thought about that but decided I wanted to avoid doing something that was so obviously proxy avoidance (you can argue that my suggested idea is obviously proxy avoidance but it's actually much less severe). The nice thing about workfriendly was that it just was a normal website with no illicit content. The only problem is it was found out and blocked.

Edit: they are probably blocked anyway haha

Jesus Christ that actually works. I remember seeing this before, but what exactly is the difference between going to www.teamliquid.net and whatever.teamliquid.net ?
