I'm looking for suggestions for coats, preferably for coats that you actually own, and can vouch for. I'm looking for a good value; either a nice inexpensive coat, or a quality one that costs. Thanks.

Anyways, I bought the Wolf Jaw jacket from Abercrombie and Fitch. $170 but DEFINITELY worth it. That jacket is all you need for the winter. Maybe some leg warmers :D edit: The outside material is cloth so it might be bad for a rainy day (usually it's warmer on rainy days though so I wear my Apex North Face; light and made of good material and blocks out wind and rain but sucks in sheer cold)

Also, equinox, you spent $160 on a hoodie lined with fake fur. The fuck?

Something like this might be good: http://www.llbean.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?page=storm-chaser-3-in-1-jacket,-men's&storeId=1&catalogId=1&langId=-1&categoryId=42674&guideCategoryId=502579&feat=502579-dg&from=GL I can't personally vouch for it, but nothing that LL Bean makes is bad.

So far it's proven to be quite water resistant (it's constantly raining here in Portland) and very warm as well, though admittedly it doesn't get much lower than freezing here. As an added bonus, it quite fashionable but not too trendy. It will cost you about $180, but I think it's very worth it.
