You can easily model it using a bit of statistics, but I can't be bothered so I'll just keep it simple. The mathematical side: If you think of coin flips, on average you get equal numbers of heads and tails, but with enough trials you are sure to get longer runs of all heads. So basically, the more often you play, the more likely you'll end up on a losing streak. And that's completely ignoring the psychological effect of repeated losses. You can reduce the random variation by playing those much weaker than you (either because you got a lot better, or they're just newbies), so your winrate is higher. The psychology: Human minds are pretty muddly things; in particular we are especially adept at remembering the extremes. It makes sense, how else would you keep track of important things. But it also means that we feel bad luck comes in threes, the toast always lands butter side down, etc. Those things simply stick in our mind more, so we feel like we're having a run of bad luck or "slumping". Basically, don't get too worked up about a silly computer game. If you really really suck it's just because you do, not because some malignant force is cursing you. That's not trying to put you down, just saying how your problems can easily be worked on and slumps are nothing but random variation and your own mind. Really, don't get too fussed about a game.

Maybe play some other kind of game just to get your mind off it so you can go to sleep (like bgh, etc) LOL. I so did that after I lost 0-3, I went another 0-2 from BGH. I was like BWGods want me to sleep. :[
