EPTTo be fair though, Flash was a horrible opponent. His strategies were great, his execution was almost flawless, yet in losing that first game of the series he showed a serious lack of insight. Just about anything other than exactly what he did should have won him that game.
Politicians should be obligated to study society economics (not sure of how this translates to english) and the way different government branches operate for at least a year before being eligible to run for public office. They don't even have to get good grades, just a minor understanding of how the wheels turn if they are going to be operating them.
Also, children should be taught from a very young age that discussion is merely a way of getting closer to the truth, not a twisted way of verifying your own superiority and stroking your own ego.
