Sooooo I know what you guys really want is the goods: replays and fpvods. But hell I've been newbie bashing so I thought it'd be better if I just give you the fpvods from my showmatch against Suncow today. It'll give you a more "real look" at my playing since my usual releases are generally of good playing (not so that I make myself look good but because I think it makes sense to let people see the best I'm able to give them, not a bunch of crap). I've just played a few warm-up games and they were horrible but I think I'll be fine once the match starts. But later today, sometime after the match, I'll edit this post with links to the vods, and I'll also respond to the thread about the showmatch with the links.
My prediction for the showmatch... well, I really have no idea. Nobody knows how good Suncow is right now. So assuming we're pretty near skill level, I'll just look at the maps. First three are Desperado, Luna, 815. I've played 0 games on Desperado, only a handful on 815, and not much on Luna (I've always hated it and avoided it). So I might have a rough start. I looked at PvZ vods on Desperado (bisu vs gorush and stork vs savior) and they weren't much help... I downloaded PvZ reps on 815 from ygclan, and they weren't much help either. But I've got some opening builds in mind and some ideas of how to play mid and late game, so I'm not too freaked out. I have much more practice on the latter 4 maps and so if I can make it to them, no matter the score, I'll be feeling pretty good. I just hope I'll be able to play to the best of my ability and I'll be happy no matter the score.
