but it doesn’t necessarily require gosu skills to enjoy the game of StarCraft with its thrills. truer words have rarely been spoken. Although the number of members in the community is good, we are observing stagnation in growth. During the tournament matches there are usually interested young observers between age 15-25. Although they like watching, when it comes to playing, it seems that they are “frightened/intimidated” away by the higher entry-difficulty of the game, compared to games such as DotA or PUBG. To overcome this barrier, it can help if it will be possible to lure new players by announcing high rewards for top finishes at tournaments. I have suggestions, if I may. - What about reaching to another game community? There is probably groups such as yours for a variety of games, like smash bros, street fighter, or even more modern titles such as CSGO. What you could do then, is do a fun team event where players must participate in both games, thus each community introduces the other to its game. - You could do bring-a-friend tournaments : for example a 2v2 event where one member of the group must bring a complete outsider to play with him. - There are also UMS maps that allow "archon mode" in BW. This could be a good way to make someone discover the game, for example you as the experienced player handle the boring macro stuff while the newcomer has fun with units. Anyway as the other have said this was really heart warming to read, best of luck and don't hesitate to tell us what you're up to next! | ||

Starchid Team League, which started in January 2018, has successfully concluded on 28 April 2019. During this period, 39 players from 5 team have actively participated and competed in 9 (offline) meetings. All players have played at least 2 and at most 25 games, with an average of 8 games for each player. In total, 81 matches were played. After round and robin with all teams, top 3 teams have advanced to playoffs, where Team Nemhee (nicknamed team oldies) and Team BoxeR had a 2:2 draw in the match for the championship (which was Bo5, but one match-up had missing players).
