Hi, I saw this post on Reddit this morning,
there's a new website that automatically takes your replays, picks out your kill and death highlights and posts the montage video onto your youtube
https://dotamemories.com/
I usually use Camtasia and spend ages going through my saved replays to find a moment that I want to record, but this website does everything automatically and its pretty awesome for me
It still needs several features/improvements, such as the option to show only your kills and the option to upload replay files rather than automatically taking your recent games from your steam profile
Here is the first video that processed for me:
And here is how I trimmed it down on youtube editor to just show the kill I wanted:
It currently compiles kills AND deaths (of only your hero) from your player perspective. I thought that showcasing deaths wasn't very useful, but actually being able to see a montage of your deaths in a game would be great for learning experience. Anyway hopefully they will add more options to their system so you can choose what you want to have compiled.
The other negative at the moment is that the system processes ALL your games (played since you registered with the website) so your youtube channel will be "busy" uploading videos if you play Dota all day.
Lastly, you can't upload games prior to when you first registered with the website, but hopefully that feature will be added.
There's a free trial but you need to put credit card details via Paypal to get it, afaik.
I am not affiliated, but I love going through my replays and uploading clips of my favourite personal plays, just it takes so damn long to track them down minute by minute and then use Camtasia to record them, this website is just my thing.
