As Zerg, Protoss still turtles and they get their stupid hots army composition.
The game didnt change very much from hots, which is sad, blizzard doesnt care. The game was so much better before beta, when it felt like a different game. So much for that core gateway unit huh blizzard? Oh wait, it's because of warp gate, when is sc3 coming out?
It's like Blizzard just doesn't wanna keep the collo nerfed.
As Protoss, I don't wanna keep doing what I did in hots.
I will just stick to playing team games, 1v1 is not fun.
I can't wait for 4v4 and 3v3 on lotv! Probably will have to wait till the game is out though.
I will watch it, probably will get bored very fast since the game is not different enough, but I am not gonna play 1v1 anymore

i do like the faster pace of lotv and the new economy, but i agree that it still feels like other races on ladder are just trying to turtle up to air units, which is depressing. it's not always that way though, i've had some really good games. and i don't really think the game is too imbalanced considering it's in beta
but i agree, i can't wait for team games in lotv! going to be sick. can't wait for the game to be out as well so my brother will get it and play archon with me :D he hasn't played the game since broodwar

i was going to buy the Blizzcon Virtual Ticket and the LotV Retail Collector's Edition so I can have the box. But, this blog has changed my mind.
Of course I might change my mind again before November 10th and so might the author of this blog.

I, for one, love playing the game, I've been playing it since WoL beta and have always enjoyed it, it's awesome. To all the people who didn't like the first two expansions but were hoping that the third one would be so different that they would actually start to have fun 5 years after the party has started, I say: this game is probably not made for you, and I don't even know where you got the idea that you should be a sc2 player in the first place.

Haha everyone is so rude and loves to post idiotic comments. I am sorry that you are not enjoying LOTV, I would try switching races, playing Archon mode, or just taking a little break. After some time maybe you will enjoy it again, hope you find your passion again! Sorry you feel down, gl hf! <3

Of course it's not forbidden.
It's just usually looked down upon when you create a whiny list of things you hate with a title like this one. He was asking for the hate, with the way he presented this blog. The guy doesn't even ask for feedback; he just vents... this is probably more appropriate in the spoilered Letting Off Steam thread.

Yeah man, this is a good time to quit. Join us. Quit and don't look back! Don't invest yourself into the game mentally when you know LOTV is not what you want.
Just let go...let go! And occasionally watch some streams to see what's going on (or to watch all the pros you enjoyed from the good old days).

I think its wise to try and let go of starcraft and perhaps blizzard for that matter completely. WHEN a good blizzard comes around that fulfulls 75%+ of what you want with it then play it. Dont sit around and wait for them to "fix" a game, they have proofed already that they never really fix the core problems of their games.

It's his blog though -_- You're allowed to blog however you like, including vent blogs so long as you aren't being personal to another TL member afaik so the hate is definitely not warranted despite this being a starcraft community.
