[Piano Blog] My best demo yet

This is my 5th demo from my upcoming album Love Stories Aged Yellow. Fortunately there's still a lot of interesting stuff I'm saving for the actual album release, namely:

1. 4 more songs of magic and mystery, including one that's 25 minutes long
2. Extended versions of 2-3 of the existing demos
3. Better sound balancing
4. Remasters of my first three albums with said sound balancing

That said, I couldn't let this one stay hidden and be overshadowed by my 25-minute brainchild. It's a fast song, exemplifying what I do best - spam arpeggios with my left hand and catchy melodies with my right, as fast as humanly possible, with as much upper body strength as I can muster.

And of course the main theme soars.

1:17ish there seems to be a small clip on the left side? seems to occur sporadically throughout the piece, not sure if it's my headphones

4:20-4:22 not a big fan of the chord progression here

lovely piece though

that intro melody is suuper catchy

are you performing? Do you have videos? If you don't I suggest you record some. Youtube would love it!

As a fan of Yiruma and many different types of classical music I really like this demo of yours. It's not perfectly recorded but the music is magnificent and quick.

Have you watched Your Lie April? I enjoyed the way that the theme revolved around piano concertos

Yeah it's not your headphones. Something I believe related to playing notes too closely together, but it'll be fixed on the actual album.

I've been meaning to! Right now I'm either jamming at home or jamming in the lounge of my college dorm, and at some point one of those I'll get a chance to record one.

I've heard parts of the OST. It sounded really arcane :D
