EPTGreat Teacher Onizuka Live (1998) is the story of a degenerate ex-gang member who suddenly lands a role as a teacher for a delinquent class in a private school.
Onizuka's lifestyle might relate to some of you, he failed his education and is now pretty old and living off part-time jobs like window cleaning. I suspect this is the situation most broodwar players are now in.
Even his friends are pretty delinquent, and he comes home one day to find his police buddy watching porn on his television. But the police buddy has a notification for him: it's an invite to become a teacher at a private school.
Onizuka obviously has no chance to become a legit teacher at ANY school, but earlier in the day he had "dealt" with some ruffians at the school whilst working as a cleaner. The head-mistress of the school was so impressed with how he handled the situation that she offers him a permanent position.
At exactly midnight for some reason, Onizuka manages to get to the head teacher's office and secure his new job.
As his new class at the school begins, Onizuka finds that his students are not quite the normal crowd he expected. One troubled girl immediately sets him up for a bribe to screw him over, luring him in and taking photo evidence as she gets him close.
However, using his skills as an ex-gang member and now generally-swath-guy-turned-teacher, he crashes his new world to the floor around him and begins to build it up again brick-by-brick.
Suddenly, the troubled girl has found a new light in her life. Great Teacher Onizuka is born.
