"It is not the strongest species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one most adaptable to change" - Charles Darwin
This was today's objective:
On the exercise front the day was fairly comfortable, I ended up walking about 7 miles getting around. The body building stuff was all fairly easy apart from the leg raises which proved a struggle but I completed them none the less. I am starting to see a fairly common pattern with this regime.
Neila seems to rotate between "all out days" and fairly easy ones making sure something is being done every day but just not to the same level. I enjoyed the break, tomorrow is going to be a tough one.
Unlike with the exercise the days Starcraft training was brutal. I ended up going 4-4.
I played vs 5 zerg opponents and I went 1-4. Every opponent was able to abuse the weakness of my roach based build and ripped me apart game after game. Relating to the quote of the day its time for me to adapt. I have decided to return to my original build order which opens with a early gas, I will mainly focus on my Muta style but I will definitely learn how to transition into roach based play at some point in the near future.
I won my only ZvT and both my ZvP's. In these match-ups I can really feel my play coming along, every game making less and less mistakes.
On the streaming side of things, not a lot went well. I had quite a few technical problems and didn't provide good enough content in my opinion. Instead of 8 concurrent viewers I averaged about 4-5 throughout the night. I did hit a 12 viewer high however.
More importantly I did hit my 45 follower goal, so during the next stream I will be giving away one hour of coaching.
Starcraft Summary
Vs Terran (1-0)
- Need to improve overlord positioning
- Remember to scout
- More creep spread
Vs Protoss (2-0)
- Further benchmark practice
- Learn how to properly defend a 2 gate
I still need to learn important timings for all races, over the next few days ill be perfecting my builds and scouting which I hope will push me into masters
As always thanks for reading. Tomorrow the stream will go live at 7pm GMT +1 and I will be doing some free coaching and will then be working towards the next follower goal! If you want the coaching be sure to be in the chat at 7:15!!!
P.S I am currently looking to make my stream more professional with on and off screen graphics which can properly display what I am trying to do. I am also still experimenting with the blog format. If you can help me with this send me a pm.
