Hey everyone I have had a lot of thoughts on recent things in Starcraft 2 that i will try to get all down in this blog. I apologize for my last blog as it was relatively short because i wasn't sure how long it should be. However this blog will be quite extensive and i plan on getting everything down. Starting with the most recent Star Wars League Season 3.

The Starcraft 2 Star Wars League Season 3 is a funny name in my opinion but cool name nonetheless for a tournament. The tournament itself gave some good games and a lot of series were one sided unfortunately. SKT T1.Parting seemed to just have his way with everyone he played against on his way to the finals and so did Liquid.Hero. It became the Korean Domination Show that we are all used to with everyone getting eliminated by the Koreans and only the Koreans eliminating the Koreans. For example Nestea lost to Parting and that was it. The Top 4 was Parting, Hero, Maru and Sen and we knew it was either going to be Parting, Hero or Maru that was going to win 1st Place. In the Finals + Show Spoiler +
SKT.Parting won against Liquid.Hero 4-0
in dominating fashion and it looked like deja vu of the WCS Season 3 Finals of Dear vs. Soulkey. Overall i feel it was a good tournament i just feel that with the finals ending in that manner that it would leave a bad taste in some peoples mouths.

The Finals of WCS Season 3 was just the staging ground for the rise of Soul.Dear by beating Soulkey 4-0 so effortlessly he made Soulkey look like he belonged in Bronze League. Even thought I am a Protoss player I was very sad to see Soulkey lose that badly because we all know he is better than he looked in that series and as a spectator it was a 4-0 stomping of one of the best Zergs in the world. However, don't get me wrong I am not taking anything away from Dear because he played amazing and is just on another level right now compared to other players and Protosses. Right now you can't deny he is the best Protoss in the world after winning WCS Korea/ GSL Code S Season 3 and WCS Season 3 Finals back to back. I hope Dear carries this momentum into Blizzcon because i want to see the best games possible at Blizzcon.

Now for the Big Fish which is Blizzcon which are the top 16 players from the all regions of WCS (points wise). If we weren't talking about points then we could throw in a lot of top players such as SKT.Rain, ST.Life, SKT.Parting, MVP.Dongraegu and Acer.Scarlett. There is one glaring thing about Blizzcon that most people should notice from the following table:
That is that Naniwa is the only foreigner that has the ability to participate at Blizzcon and that's not even a guarantee. He has to get past Revival first and then he has tall order to try and beat Soulkey if he does happen to beat Revival which i do predict he will beat revival.

MMA vs Bomber
[image loading]

MMA vs Bomber will be a very interesting match in my opinion strictly because since we haven't seen any of Bomber's gameplay since WCS Season 2 Finals and he forfeited his Challenger League seed. MMA has been playing really well as of late and obviously Bomber is no scrub either after winning WCS Season 2 and beating Taeja to get there. Bomber's best match up statistically is TvT by far with a 75% win rate and i do not remember the last time I saw him lose a TvT to be completely honest. MMA has been playing really well lately but I have to say that I believe Bomber with take the series against MMA considering just the simple fact that Bomber just doesn't lose in the TvT match up.

Hero vs sOs
[image loading]

Hero vs sOs I dont feel will be a good match because of the fact that Hero's vP is his worst match up. Also, even though PvP is a very fragile and volatile match up he just lost to Parting + Show Spoiler +
4-0
at Star Wars League Season 3. It was not close by any stretch of the imagination. His PvP seems to be lacking right now just like Innovation's TvT right now. sOs should win this pretty handily unless he gets over confident or Hero gets Build Order wins in the series.

Dear vs Taeja
[image loading]

Two multiple time champions this year but one must lose. I feel going into this that Dear has all the momentum in the universe on his side against Taeja and yet Taeja has won title after title this year so you cannot just count him out. I feel this will be one of the best matches in the tournament and if Dear wins against Taeja and Jaedong gets through to the next round to face off against Dear I greatly fear for him. This is because Dear has Beat soO 4-2 in WCS Korea and he just beat Soulkey 4-0 in WCS Season 3 Finals. This should be a very close match but i have to give the edge to Dear if he can get it to late game and with the way he has been playing as of late.

MC vs Maru
[image loading]

This is a very hard match to call because MC has shown in the past that when the big prize pools are on the line he shows up to win it all. On the other hand Maru has proven himself to be one of the best Terrans out there making it deep in every tournament he goes to and winning WCS Korea Season 2/OSL. MC has won the most money in tournament earnings in Starcraft 2 than any other player so he shows up when its time to make his money. This really is a tough match to call but in this instance I will say MC wins a close series because I believe if he can get to late game that he has a pretty good chance to win against maru if he can survive that long that is.

Innovation vs Duckdeok
[image loading]

Ok this should be brief to say the least. Innovation vs Duckdeok shouldn't be all that interesting strictly because I believe that Innovation is just on another level to Duckdeok. I believe that Innovation should win and if he didn't win for the sake of argument that would be one of the biggest upsets in the tournament in my opinion besides if Naniwa made it through and beat Soulkey which I believe will be a very tough match up for him if he does make it through Revival. I left out Polt, Alive and Jaedong because it is not set in stone who they are going to be matched up against yet and I do not want to make guesses on who they will face. Also, I am not aware of what the deal is with MVP and Alive, who they will face and how it works.

Naniwa
[image loading]

Last but not least i would like to say personally that Blizzcon is basically all Korean players which i have nothing against. The top 15 are all Korean and Naniwa would be the 16th ranked player if he beats Revival which I am almost positive that he will which will make it one foreigner. I believe that for people who just don't want to root for koreans will be rooting hard for Naniwa to win his matches because he literally is the "Last Foreigner Hope" here. I wish good luck to Naniwa in his tournament run and I hope and pray that the finals isn't somebody getting utterly annihilated. I know people don't want another 4-0 Finals like WCS Season 3 Finals. Thanks for reading this everyone and if u are interested in any of my social media outlets i will link them below. What you will get from my social media is I upload gameplay of games that i play daily and what my current thoughts on things happening in Starcraft and League of Legends. For example, right now I am uploading gameplay of Outlast the horror game and GTA V. I Hope you enjoyed my Write up of my impressions of recent and upcoming Starcraft 2 Events.
