EPTtl;dr: I have issues that I'm not crying spilt milk over - I'm looking for advice that can help me successfully resolve them.
I am currently in job negotiations with two companies. One is full-time, the other is contract (temp) into possible full-time at Google (depending on how well a job I do there). The full-time job pays much less base salary than Google, but after bonuses and commissions it sort of equals out. The full-time job has been offered to me. The problem is that I haven't been offered the temp job yet - I have one final interview tomorrow. The full-time job has told me that I should take the Google job if offered, otherwise they would be happy to have me on board.
Basically, I have a "Meet the Team" interview at Google and I'd like to ask those of you who have gone through this or have similar experience or helpful advice on how to approach this. Many thanks. If this is successful it would go a looooong way to getting a particular monkey off of my back (my future in-laws wouldn't have any room to insult my ability to support my fiancée and myself, as well as disparage my seeming lack of ambition).
