Episode 3

Thanks for reading my blog once again and special thanks to @ HaRuHi for fixing my grammatical mistakes and also thanks to TL Manager for putting my post on Spotlight.
I actually finished writing stories about the final.
However I have decided not to post stories about my Final because there is so many sensitive stories which can give bad influence to my friends and me.

After The Final.
Okay. I felt desperate all day after losing the Final.
Christmas was coming I was supposed to go out with my friends.
but GOM TV operated some event it was 5v5 Zerg vs Terran vs Protoss on Christmas for event.
I was very annoyed because I eventually finished my all tournament and I really wanted to have vacation.

Since I felt so desperate I didn't practice a lot(If I tried harder at this moment, I would have more successful gaming career)
And My Code S match was coming my opponent was Trickster , Choya , Kyrix
Actually I didn't practice a lot.

I played against Choya on Scrap station. played very safely and I won with long macro game.
And second game was against Kyrix map was metalopolis and I played mech and game was disconnected during the game due to internet problems. And I thought he didn't know what I was going to do but apparently he knew what I was going to do and he just counter attacked me so I lost the game.

Third game was against Trickster and he knew much about me because he sit right next to me.
He knew what I was going to do and I lost
Due to the winner-winner ? something rule, I lose to kyrix. Thus, I took 4th place in my group and placed in the worst place for up down matches.

Up down match was Kyrix vs July and loser vs me.
Kyrix beat July and I lost to July I practiced a lot and my strategies were good when I was practicing. However I played very stupid at the tournament.
and I dropped out from the Code S.
After this I had one last chance. one of the player who is in code S had to do military service so there was one spot in code S so Gom TV made Wild card matches for 8 players who demoted form Code S.
At that moment there weren't many good players and I thought I can get through this.
my first opponent was Moon I saw lot of his VODs and I thought he won't be hard opponent.
I underestimated him and I also played really bad and I lost 2:0

Due to the losing 7 official matches in a row I was tremendously disappointed to myself.
I was also depressed everyday, spending most time alone sitting at the staircase and thinking about my future plans and I thought I must give a change to myself or else It will be end of my career.

So I had to start playing in Code A, I was planning to quit if I got dropped to Code B.
my first opponent was "YeaH" a zerg player we both played very weird I think he was nervous as well I almost lose the series but I got luck and I advanced to Ro.16

My next opponent was Zenex.Jjun and he won again moonglade in Ro.32.
after winning against moonglade he said something about me at the interview the question was your next opponent is Rain how do you think about next match up? and he said like ah he is anticipatable player so it would not be tough.
I was so mad when I saw his interview and I practiced a lot and I beat him black and blue(In game)

And I played against hyperdub for the up down match, I won 2:0 and I made in to Code S once again. there were 5 Codes players in our team out of 8 players.

for the next Code S match ups. I lost to Julyzerg I made my special CHEESE but my micro control was bad and I lose the game. and then I played against oGsInca I won the game in crevasse.
and I had to play one more game and I was so so ahead but I lost to a couple of DT's (many people might remember this game)and I couldn't get into Ro.16 again.

So I took 3rd place which means I have two chance to survive in up down match.
I lost my first game against MvP but I won my last match against Rainbow so I was able to survive in Code S.

Okay, Actually my stories after the Final is boring and depressing.
thanks for reading my blog, I'll comeback with better stories later!

Since my last post had so many attentions and positive comments, I had some pressure writing my blogs, I felt like I'm a novelist lol

Grammatical corrections would be appreciated !
Thanks for reading and have a nice day!

Thanks for the blog! I enjoyed reading it as usual.

When players say things in interviews about other players, do they get offended? Sometimes it is hard to tell if it is a joke or an honest insult.

Amazing blog!

I would love to hear some boring stories you have in your life or team house. GSL stories are very exciting, but you are very interesting as well, and we hope that you can share any small stories.

@lichter If two players are close enough you can make some funny provokes but in this case I've never met him or talked him before so It looked offend to me

I think you mean predictable?

Edit:
Since you wanted some grammatical corrections and I like proofreading from time to time I took a shot at cleaning it up a bit. Please keep in mind I'm not a native English speaker, so there are still a few errors in there (there are a couple I can't figure out, and I it wouldn't surprise me if I made a few mistakes myself, I mostly did this for fun) but maybe you can use it as reference and/or maybe someone else feels like improving it. I marked a few of the changes with italic. Feel free to ignore if you don't like it.

After The Final.
Okay. I felt desperate all day after losing the Final.
Christmas was coming and I was supposed to go out with my friends.
However GOM TV ran an event that was 5v5, Zerg vs Terran vs Protoss during Christmas.
I was very annoyed because I had finally finished my all tournaments and I really wanted to have vacation.

Since I had lost to Kyrix, he had the better head-to-head score and was placed in third place, despite us both going 1-2. Thus, I took 4th place in my group and received the worst placement for the up&down matches.

could you talk about the finals itself?

the feeling you have before it happens, knowing how important it is, all of the pressure that's on you

and the feeling when you lose... you only get to hear about it from the winner's perspective, but I imagine there's a whole different world for the person on the losing end

+ Show Spoiler +

The game disconnected (why?), due to internet problems.
The game was disconnected (how?), by internet problems.
The passive itself is correct, but a passiv implies a "how?" and you do not answer that question with "due to".

And I thought he didn't know what I was going to do but apparently he knew what I was going to do and he just counter attacked me so I lost the game.

The Third game was against Trickster and he knew much about me because he sit sat right next to me.

Kyrix beat July and I lost to July. I practiced a lot and my strategies were good when I was practicing. However I played very stupid at the tournament.
and I dropped out from the Code S. + Show Spoiler +
Keep using "the" when you are unsure. Using it too often does not make it more difficult to understand you, while using it too rarely does.

After this I had one last chance. one of the players who is was in code S had to do military service so there was one free spot in code S so . Gom TV made Wild card matches for 8 players who had been demoted form Code S.
At that moment there weren't many good players and I thought I can get through this.
my first opponent was Moon I saw lots of his VODs and I thought he won't be a hard opponent.

Due to the losing 7 official matches in a row I was tremendously disappointed to in myself.
I was also depressed everyday, spending most time alone sitting at the staircase and thinking about my future plans and I thought I must give a change to myself + Show Spoiler +

To give a change to yourself is zen buddhist.
Usually you give a change to an inanimate object, like the positioning of a chair.
The phrase "give a change" is also closely to "give change"(donate small amounts of money). + Show Spoiler +
Which does not originate from the change you might make on the donee's life, but from the origin of the money, as it was changed by a cashier

Parents of a newborn may refer to "give a change to someone" as changing someone's diapers.

So, "I must give a change to myself" is correct, but "I must change" leaves less room for interpretation in most contexts.
or else It will be the end of my career.

So I had to start playing in Code A, I was planning to quit if I got dropped to Code B.
my first opponent was "YeaH" a zerg player we both played very weird I think he was nervous as well I almost lose lost the series but I got lucky and I advanced to the Ro.16

My next opponent was Zenex.Jjun and he won against moonglade in the Ro.32.

I was so mad when I saw his interview and I practiced a lot and I beat him black and blue(In game)

And Then I played against hyperdub for the up and down match, I won 2:0 and I made it into Code S once again. there were 5 Code S players in our team out of 8 players.

for the next Code S match ups.: I lost to Julyzerg I made my special CHEESE but my micro control was bad and I lose lost the game. and then I played against oGsInca I won the game in crevasse.
and I had to play one more game and I was so so ahead but I lost to a couple of DT's (many people might remember this game)and I couldn't get into the Ro.16 again.
+ Show Spoiler +

"I was so ahead": means you were ahead.
"I was so, so ahead": means you were very ahead.

The "," is mandatory then, because you like to also use "so so" synonymous to 50/50, not much, a little bit, ok, give or take, more or less.
It was so, so difficult. <<< good english
It was so so. <<< bad english

If you were a little ahead, say so:"I was a little ahead".

So I took 3rd place which meants I hadve two chances to survive in the up and down match.
I lost my first game against MvP but I won my last match against Rainbow so I was able to survive in Code S.

Okay, Actually my storyies after the Final is boring and depressing.
thanks for reading my blog, I'll comeback with better stories later!

Since my last post had so many much attentions + Show Spoiler +
Again, use "many" only when you can count it. You can not count attention, just like you can not count time.
and positive comments, I had some pressure writing my blogs, I felt like I'm a novelist lol

Grammatical corrections would be appreciated !
Thanks for reading and have a nice day!

You got better fast! Well done. This allowed me to focus on smaller things. Do not start your sentences with "And", it is not wrong, just bad. Try to keep your sentences short.
