Or DotA 2 because it has an esports future for the next few years at least. Also, it's fun. Third contender would be possibly speedrunning SM64 or some other game that won't fade from relevance as a speed game. | ||

There are pro players there, so presumably that fits the popularity requirement. I could see myself playing that professionally if I had the skill. I was pretty good at it, and the only reason I quit was financial reasons. If I earned a comfortable living salary, I assume I'd have enough money to be able to pay for cards and tournament travel expenses. Starcraft 2 would come up second place, and I'd pick SC2 if Magic was deemed not popular enough by the genie. | ||
