It's not about attention spans. It's about efficiency. Having to watch a 20 minute video for something that can be explained and read in written form in about 5 minutes tops is a truly terrible use of ones time. My pet peeve is googling for technical solutions to computer/program issues and only getting youtube hits and be forced to watch what is basically a 10 minute promotional video for a 50 words long solution. | ||

That is not comparable. There is a VLOG and there is a line about what is in the VLOG. Either you are interested or not. Asking for a tldr in that case is surely a sign for a short attention span.
