EPTI tried what it can do, found it interesting, registered, uploaded some replays, then played some more and uploaded some more.
It was both fun and strange, watching the matches from a different point of view - not from the strategic perspective af a replay, but from a sort of statistical point of view. GGTracker gives one an opportunity to look at many games at once, at your history. SC2 after match statistics are nice, but having the ability to analyze and watch your progress over many games is really useful.
Spending Skill, spending quotient, SQ - I knew it existed before I started using ggtracker. I never wondered what my SQ is. I figured, since I am in diamond, my SQ is probably also around diamond. And I was pretty suprised that it wasn't. At least it wasn't all the time. Actually, my SQ varied significantly from bronze to even grandmasters, depending on a game. And it wasn't that the short games had grandmaster level SQ and long games had bronze SQ. There was no relation between game length and SQ. I really wonder what does my SQ depend on.
Worker waves per minute - this I don't really understand. If you play macro, then perhaps it can tell you something. But once you get into allin mode, there won't be any workers built and the WWPM will lower.
APM - that's always interesting. I don't spam and I see that over many matches my APM is pretty constant, around 80. That's kind of low and I know I should try to improve here. I will have to visit the multitasking trainer map much more often.
Race macro - the cronoboost statistics are useful too. From what I can see, I am able to use the energy relatively well. There is a place for improvement there, though.
To sum up: the information given by GGTracker can perhaps be obtained in other way. But the real advantage of that app is that you are able to look at your games when you have a cool head and analyze them from a, sort of, third person perspective. And that may actually be a big gain.
