Hiya, i am having a 1 week holiday to Burgas Bulgaria from April 10th to 17th.
I am wondering if you have any suggestions of things I can do with a (Bulgarian lady) friend there.
I have been in the past and we have visited places like Sozopol, Nessebar, Veliko etc.
It will be too cold for things like aquapark. So I am wondering what other things we could possibly do. Or if there is anything secret or hidden that you might know about.
We can go to an indoors swimming pool/baths. Is there somewhere super nice like a restaurant you might know of? We will have a car and can travel to nearby places if there is something special to visit there. An ice skating rink would be cool if you know of one.

Hey,im from Bourgas and i would recommend you to visit a couple of things :
Definitelly check out the Sea Garden and the many things it has to offer.
1st - Check out the Casino Gallery in the Sea Garden.
2nd - Whole March and some part of April there is a Botanical exhibition called "Flora" in the Sea Garden Of Bourgas.
3rd - There you could find some animal exhibitions too - mainly reptiles and insects.
4th - Be sure to check out the many restaurants at the shore . Dont miss out on "Tropikana " i think you will like it very much - its cheap,good kitchen, good service, fresh sea food.
5th - check out some of the museums i think you might find them quite interesting.
6th - Bourgas has 3 big lakes around it , three of them are national reserves with many rare species of birds.You can go for a walk there i think you would really enjoy it.
Sadly there arent many things i can recommend you for this season in Burgas since its a small city that relies mainly on summer tourism

you can visit the "Varvarite" (means The Barbarians) near Ravda. It's a restaurant with a really nice atmosphere.Looks like a castle and everything in it is like in medieval times - people dressed up like medieval barbarians chopping your food with butcher knives and swords,dancing , singing , feeding you from skulls o_O the whole thing 
i think you might find it amusing . still im not sure if its opened in this time of the year
OHHHH and definitely go for a lunch at "Daliana" in Otmanli which is 10 mins with a car from Bourgas.It's a restaurant that's located on a quay and the people who own the place catch the fish on that quay and it goes right into the pan in front of your eyes.Pretty romantic if u going with a chick ;p
