What happened to doctorhelvetica? I don't see him in a lot of threads and he doesn't get into it anymore.

That blog was pretty funny. E-famous in my books!

Doc H has been mysteriously disappeared. Knowing how smart that guy was, it probably involved men in black suits and homemade a device emitting large amount of radioactivity.

What do you like to cook? I need to eat dinner right now but I'm too lazy to cook it.

I need to eat dinner right now but I'm too lazy to cook it. that's a bit... broad. i like to make stuff like stews, soups, stir fry, rice-based dishes, noodles (kinda rare nowadays though cuz im trying to stay away from processed foods), pan-fried or pan-seared meats and fish.... really there's a ton of stuff that i enjoy. i dont really bake or make desserts/pastries or that sorta thing though. my cooking is influenced by traditional homestyle southern chinese cooking (from my parents), traditional american cooking (like the stews, roasts), and some relatively new paleo-style ways of cooking (using only unprocessed foods, little or no grain/gluten, good balance of meats, fats and oils, veggies, fruits....)
if you want something easy take the following ingredients and stick em all in a pot of water, and heat it until it simmers for 35-40 minutes. - chicken thighs/drumsticks - your choice of green veggies - onions, peppers, carrots, garlic, herbs, other spices
if you want something fast, then it depends on what you already have. a can of tuna with some spring mix salad and a bit of olive oil is delicious, healthy, and quick to make. eat a banana, apple, and avocado with that too.
another quick dish to make is an omelette. 3-5 eggs, whip them up, put some butter on the skillet, and cook. throw in onions, mushrooms, bacon, ground beef, rice, or whatever the hell you want.

LOL awesome set of qualifications!
My question: do you have any school/college advice? :D I'm curious because after reading the ss blog and then with quite a few people calling him out on it (lol), I wonder what you'd have to say, what with your experience~

I don't have a question for you, but Three Extremes was the movie that got me into asian horror; saw it at a film festival when I was in college with no idea what to expect. Box was incredible; Cut didn't really do anything for me though. I'll have to check out that series of blogs!

@Aerisky
i'm actually only qualified in some areas, most would fall in the "interested in" category. that's why i put "interested in and/or knowledgeable on." don't wanna make the claim that im knowledgeable on all the listed topics!!
school/college - depends! are you in high school or college now? and what do you want to do? you dont have to answer the last question definitively, just give me some more info about yourself so i can give you a better answer.
and are you referring to the blog shadysands just posted?

and are you referring to the blog shadysands just posted? Oh I just wrote that because a lot of people got tisk-tisked for making "ask me" blogs haha. But yeah I agree, and your answers so far are also really interesting. I looked at your profile and dayummm since 2004. That's when Roger Federer first got to world no. 1!
I'm actually a rising freshman for college! I think I want to do engineering (EE then go from technical to managerial after working, god willing I get a job and whatnot) but recently I've been having second thoughts and I've been thinking of doing finance or related, I dunno >< I'm pretty open-minded+curious in general and I'm not too sure about my future etc, but I was just wondering whether you had any advice and input
And yeah that was the blog to which I was referring. If you have any input on that I'm curious too I guess
