I feel silly creating a new blog entry for this and I also don't want to spam my own blog posts >.<! HOWEVER, I'm going to bed shortly and I just ripped up the last half pack of smokes I had and flushed them. It felt liberating and i'm very excited about tomorrow and feeling good. Now I sit here staring at my last smoke focusing on quitting, focusing on the hardships ahead and focusing on my cardio-vascular health. So my last cheat meal until Feb 14th, my last smoke, my last beer, gah! What am I thinking lol It's the right decision, I know, I know

I just wanted to share my last smoke with the blog even though it's just beginning. So here's to y'all, CHEERS! <3 There's a lot more to come! Stay tuned! (Stay hungry, stay sexy, get laid. - FP)

Good luck. It's stupid hard to keep up with it. The first couple days aren't bad. By the third you'll be hating yourself, though, haha.

I'd look into ecigs if you haven't already. They were instrumental in getting me to quit.

Anyway...YOU CAN DO IT.

I just hope you know what you are getting into...

Breaking habits are hard--especially smoking. The nicotine is what does people in. You just have to remember that the first few weeks will be the hardest. Also, you may want to get a new hobby (excersize, reading, something) to take your mind off smoking. Finally, you may want to stop doing activities that remind you of smoking. For example, if you like to smoke after having a good beer, you may want to stop drinking for a few weeks--at least until you get over the first hump with your addiciton.

Thanks for the support everyone <3 It will surely come into play once the real withdrawal and mind games begin. I've quit before by smoking pot instead. However, i've been smoking a gram a day for the past few years and i'm tired of it. I want to be the best I can possibly be. Mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually (although I'm not "religious" I do believe in the ethereal.) I do exercise already, lift 6 days a week religiously and I try my best to get in at least 20 minutes of cardio/day. Tomorrow I'm going to start marathon training because running a half is one of my goals for 2013 and is another reason I want to quit smoking. I have the foundation, the motivation and concrete goals I want to achieve. Again thanks for the support and I hope to see you guys when times get tough <3 GLHF Everyone <3

ive actually found that the first day was the hardest, then after that it was pretty easy. smoked 1.5 packs a day for 5+ years, finally decided to stop and went ahead with it. keep yourself away from places where you would normally smoke, maybe even keep yourself away from people that smoke for a little while.

look up "how to quit smoking" to find good tips. some of them seemed a bit unnecessary but hey, when it's about you and your health, there's really no such thing as going too far to make it happen.
