EPTStill get chills listening to this
Back in the days when was Cartoon Network was worth watching (Dexter's Lab+Ed Edd and Eddy+Samurai Jack etc...), back in the days when Tom rocked out Tunami (with greats like yu-yu-hakusho+gundam), one show stood alone.
One show.

God, CL was awesome. Great cast, decent-enough plot (especially from my 14-year-old point of view), 4 seasons of thinking "Man, what would I give to be that kid saving the world". It was unparalleled. And I laughed at Odd, and empathized with Ulrich, and didn't care much for Aelita, but whatever (seriously, she should've died like 20 times in the first season), and Sissi, who was annoying and awesome, and everyone!
But then the 4 season ended in 2007, and well, that was all. There were rumors forever about a movie, but that never happened. There was a forum with kids that liked the show, or even loved the show, but...well, nobody felt for CL like I felt for CL.

And then, but a few days ago, I decide to check back. Google CL. And lo and behold...

Say what? A 5th season? 26 new episodes of Code Lyoko? Is it even possible?
But wait, what is this? Real-life characters? So no more of the old voice actors? And different style of animation? And possibly no American version?
It wouldn't be fair to be surprised- why would season 5, coming out 5 years after season 4 ended, have the same things as the old ones?
So we'll wait and see. Will CL:E mean the same to me as CL? Heck, CAN CL:E mean the same to me as CL? Will I, CAN I, possibly connect to this new season, to these new real-life actors, in the same way I was able to connect to them so well 5 years ago?
Time will tell.
